Calvin E. Roberson Jr. is the President of Jireh Vision, LLC. and has a call to be a master builder of people and the corporations for which people serve. He has over twenty years of experience in the field of public health leading staff, external professionals, and community leaders in program design, development and implementation, project coordination and administration, and client recruitment and retention.

Corporate Development:
His work as President of Jireh Vision, LLC.has primarily been focused on nonprofit corporations, parachurch ministries, and faith-based organizations. Mr. Roberson has assisted these corporations to be more strategic in identifying their assets, building cross-functional teams, leveraging their financial resources and human capital to be optimally and efficiently productive, growing their assets by securing more resources through recruiting influential leaders and successfully applying for grants, and continually evaluating their success by creating and using metric measuring change at the beginning.
Mr. Roberson has more recently provided consultation services to academic institutions, such as the University of Indianapolis to provide program evaluation services, and for-profit entities such as TechServ to provide expertise in formulating strategies to better address diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the healthcare setting. In the TechServ venture, Mr. Roberson worked as a third-party vendor to collaboratively strengthen a healthcare system to improve DEI at the c-suite level, management and supervisory level, and professional and administrative support level. Consultation has focused on strategies for promoting DEI amongst team members as well as service provision to patients that come into their offices
Professional and Personal Development:
Mr. Roberson is an instructor that provides educational didactics and interactive training for students, faculty, professional staff, and the community at large to increase their knowledge, improve their attitudes and self-efficacy towards initiating and/or maintaining specific professional practices or personal healthy habits. Currently, Mr. Roberson has an adjunct faculty appointment at the Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, Fairbanks School of Public Health. Previously he held an adjunct faculty position at Brown Mackie College.
Mr. Roberson is a Therapeutic Foster Parent for the National Youth Advocate Program, Elder with Ebenezer Christian Church, and a community advocate. He serves on several boards, committees, councils, etc. advocating for health equity. These include but are not limited to the following: Indiana Rural Health Association, Qsource, Indiana Suicide Prevention Network, and the Indiana Commission for improving the Status of Children–Equity, Inclusion, and Cultural Competency Committee.
Professional Experience:
Currently, Mr. Roberson serves as the Director of Operations for Indiana University (IU) Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center at the IU School of Medicine. Formerly, Mr. Roberson worked twenty (20) years at the Indiana Minority Health Coalition where he served as the Vice President of Planning and Program Development. He also served in other capacities while working at IMHC that were as follows: VicePresident of Research and Training, Director of Research, Regional Technical Assistance Coordinator, and Project Coordinator. Prior to any of his roles at IMHC, he served as an Adolescent Health Educator for the Health and Hospital Corporation of Marion County.
Educational History:
Mr. Roberson holds dual Masters Degrees in Health Administration and Public Health. Mr. Roberson is currently a doctoral student pursuing a degree in Health Behavior at at Indiana University–Bloomington.
